Here is the First Annual Ocean Planet – Woy Woy Rotary Club Oyster Festival Kayak Challenge

Get ready for an exciting start to the summer season with a great paddling race event to be held in conjunction with the popular Woy Woy Oyster Festival.

Beginning at Woy Woy Wharf and proceeding out onto the course route on the Brisbane Water, the circuit will end at the finish line back at the wharf. Awards. Prizes, donated by Ocean Planet, will be provided to first, second and third place getters; best and fairest and most deserving amongst others!

Sponsored by Ocean Planet Pty. Ltd. and organised by avid paddlers from the Woy Woy Rotary Club, the race event is to be held on October 26th at 10:30 am at the Woy Woy wharf.

The course is to be a short course, under 7 km distance and is a good opportunity to come have some fun and challenge your mates to put their boasting to the test!

Besides being a great way to enhance your fitness and challenge your mates, all proceeds from the event will go to a Woy Woy Rotary Club nominated charity.

The event is open to all types of entrants and paddle craft, from beginners through to professionals. All you need to do is grab a boat, paddle and get involved!

All boats from kayaks and canoes, surf skis to dragon boats ...... if you have it bring it. There are some conditions: we can give you those details when you contact us.

Entry fee - $5.00 per person.
